The goal of the game is to line up exactly 5 stones of your color in a continuous horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row on a 15x15 board. The first player has a significant advantage. To reduce this, we use a variant called "free-style Renju". This opening regulation means the first player places a black stone in the center, then white places a stone anywhere. On the next move, black can place their stone anywhere except the central 5x5 restricted area. After that, the game proceeds without restrictions.
