International Draughts Online

International Draughts (100-square, Polish draughts) is played on a 10×10 board with 20 pieces per player. A regular piece moves forward one square diagonally. A king moves any distance diagonally forward and backward. Capturing is mandatory. Key difference: when multiple capture options exist, you must execute the one that removes the maximum number of opponent's pieces (majority rule). The Turkish strike rule applies. If a regular piece reaches the king row during a capture and can continue capturing as a regular piece, it continues the capture and remains regular. It gains the right to capture as a king only from the next turn.

Majority Rule

When multiple capture options exist, you must execute the variant that removes the maximum number of opponent's pieces. This is a key difference from Russian draughts, where you can choose any variant.

Promotion to King

If a regular piece reaches the king row during a capture and can continue capturing as a regular piece, it remains regular and continues capturing. Promotion occurs only if further capture is impossible. The right to capture as a king appears from the next turn.
