Russian Draughts is a classic board game played on an 8×8 board. Each player has 12 pieces placed on the black squares of the first three rows. A regular piece moves diagonally forward one square. A king moves diagonally to any free square both forward and backward. Capturing is mandatory and can be performed both forward and backward. The Turkish strike rule applies — each opponent's piece can only be captured once per turn. When multiple capture options exist, the player chooses which variant to execute. A regular piece reaching the last row becomes a king. If during a capture a regular piece passes through the king row, it becomes a king and continues capturing according to king rules.
